For months, we have been featured Green Jobs that require Energy Efficiency experience and/or the willingness to learn. But what does working in the field really involve? With everything green being so new, here's an in-depth look at what it really means to become an Energy Efficiency Expert, courtesy CSE.

An energy efficiency manager is responsible for improving the energy efficiency of organizations and domestic properties. They are often required to act as agents of change within their organization, coordinating all aspects of energy management, from energy efficiency and reduction of Green house gas emissions to waste management and sustainable development by:

- Encouraging the use of renewable/sustainable energy resources within an organization or community;

- Deriving solutions for carbon management and climate change.
