KPMG Names First Ever National Managing Partner In Charge of Diversity & Corporate Social Responsibility

KPMG has created a new position called National Managing Partner, Diversity and Corporate Social Responsibility. Kathy Hopinkah Hannan, the co-chair of KPMG's Diversity Advisory Board and founder of their Network of Women, will focus on addressing the firm's diversity and CSR growth internally (employees) and externally (practices, vendors, partners and clients).

For sure, accounting's Big 4 have been leading the race in embracing CSR and diversity as huge strategic focuses in the finance industry, regularly discussing their diversity programs and leadership development initiatives in Vault's annual diversity survey as well as our annual green survey. With this new title, KPMG has brought the importance of including corporate social responsibility in a company's strategic long term focus to the forefront.

Kudos to KPMG, any guesses on who will follow?
