BearingPoint, back from the dead

Thought you'd never again hear from BearingPoint after last year's Chapter 11 filing and restructuring? Think again. While the firm has sold off its North American and Asia Pacific units, its European wing is still standing, and has just announced a strategic alliance with Chicago-based West Monroe Partners. The partnership is meant to increase both companies' global coverage; each firm will focus on its own local market, but they will collaborate on projects that require a broader geographic scope.
