Year-End Roundup: Top MBA-Related Posts from 2010

 Education       Grad School

In previous years, every business school aspirant would ask themselves the questions Why an MBA? and Why an MBA now? Those two questions would not suffice in 2010. With the business degree market changing, b-school applicants had to start asking if an MBA was the right choice at all. Why not an EMBA or MiM? Why not stay at your job and get your management degree? Heck, there's even a Facebook MBA. And to complicate things further, more schools started accepting both the GMAT and the GRE. So, which to take?

Women, particularly, had to question their MBA plans after learning how shafted, career-wise, mentored women are relative to mentored men, and how costly it is for female MBAs to have children.

And as always, interest was high in knowing what the top MBA programs were, which schools' alumni make the most money, which programs graduate the most students into consulting jobs, what recruiters consider the top MBA programs by specialty, who the ideal employers are, and why an MBA doesn't make a better CEO.
