We're officially smack in the middle of summer, and a hot one at that. This time of year, predictably, means different things to different people. For some (myself included), July marks one of our favorite of all the national-holiday-months: National Ice Cream Month. For others, it means the middle of an internship, summer associate position, or bona fide summer job. And for anyone applying to law school, it means getting your act together--taking the LSAT if you haven't already, tracking down your recommenders, figuring out where you want to apply, and maybe even writing that first draft of your personal statement.

In an effort to help that last group, so near and dear to our hearts here at Admit One, we've assembled a list of the five law schools that scored the highest when we asked its students, on a scale of 1 to 10, "How selective is your school?"

Stanford University Law School: 10

University of Chicago Law School: 9.48

New York University School of Law: 9.47

University of Michigan Law School: 9.45

University of Virginia School of Law: 9.35
