Today Clear Admit announced a new product for business school applicants: the MBA Planner for iPhone and iPod Touch.

Fitting business school applications into an already busy schedule is a challenge. Most business school candidates are expected to apply while working full time, so time-saver and organization tools can be very helpful. And at only $3.99, the MBA Planner looks like a pretty good investment.

Like the Law School 100, the MBA Planner includes profiles of 47 top MBA programs in the United States and abroad, with student demographics, job placement and salary statistics and other standard school information. The profiles also have application information, such as deadlines, information session dates and essay questions.

What makes the MBA Planner particularly useful is its application organizer. The app has a To Do list so you can make sure you take care of every piece of the individual applications, as well as a My Schools Dashboard to see how you're doing on all your applications at once. Plus, the organizer links up to your calendar so you receive reminders and alerts when things are due and to your phone's contact list so you can easily contact a school with a question or follow up call. The MBA Planner also includes a notepad where you can record any ideas for your essays or resume, and notes from meetings with admissions officers at MBA fairs--it's important to write down your thoughts when they're still fresh!
